The Music and TV that Accelerated Me Thru High School Part 4 (Senioritis !)
Fresh off a trip to Frisco, I tapped Ket for Snoop's Baby Boy. That song carried me thru the whole Senior year because it sparked in me the confidence that I could pull out whatever I wanted whenever I wanted ! It always reminds me of those stupid, fun times in AP Euro doing nothing but arguing, laughing hard, and still "pulling" grades. Wahooooooo ! Whilst I was stuck filling out my college applications and worrying about what the hell would happen, the deadly combo of "Differences" and "Happy Heart in the Sunshine" dragged me out of the drudgery of that crap. Hell, the person up there knows, the Bulls weren't. And the Bears --- they gave me heart attacks every game because of how they AGAIN --- PULLED IT OUT OF THEIR ASSES AT THE LAST SECOND to win games. Thru the multiple all-nighters I pulled, Jay and Conan kept the laughs coming and me from sleeping. In the middle of the year, during my 44 days in the desert, aka senior project/summer in winter, I encountered a kid named Oscar. He was cool. He C-Walked to "Always on Time," which basically has the lyrics to cap off my whole senior year. . ."I'm not always there when you call, but I'm always on Time". . .yeah, I was never there mentally, but. . .hey. . .I showed up. . .and I got a diploma from the big L---OYOL !
