Running Mechanics

This is a note to self about running fast through long distances. All I will say is: long stride.

OK now I'll say more (because that statement wasn't really fulfilling): long stride as in your leg has to keep reaching it's furthest with each step of the run.

My experience with the long stride has been that I would look like I'm not even trying relative to a 40-something born again runner with a headband and a walkman working too hard for every step. So with the long stride, you'll be faster than most of America's fat population.

Now all you gotta do is learn how to run fast with a long stride.

Ciao.
