The Party No One Came To

Nope, no popular kid threw this party.
It was the work of a complete loner.

He was friendly to other kids, and it was
Just that he didn't say much to them

Because he didn't know what to say
But he considered these people friends

When the friends didn't really know him
They heard of his party, but it wasn't that serious

Anyway, yes, they would come to his party
He thought, imagining the fun to be had

So he helped buy the food the drinks for the party
He along with his lethargic mom and dad spent the day. . .

. . .setting up. . .

. . .for this party that no one came to.
